Sprouts are germinated legumes and has lot of health benefits. It is a very nutritional food and consumed all over the world. The quantity of protein in the bean improves when it is germinated. It helps in hair growth, beautiful skin, rich in Vitamin A, B complex, C, E and good source of iron.
INGREDIENTS
Green gram 1/2 tea cup
water 3/4 tea cup
METHOD
Wash the moong dal. Soak 1/2 tea cup green gram dal in 3/4 tea cup water over night. Cover with a lid. Morning you will find the dal had soaked all the water.
If excess water is there just drain it.
Morning and evening sprinkle little water for two days. They will start sprouting.
When the bean sprouts have developed short sprouts they are ready for consumption.
