Lassoni hariyali paneer tikka is an Indian dish and is served as starters or an accompaniment. It is a dry dish and healthy, tasty ,delicious. Usually it is prepared in a tandoor or grill but here I am using tawa to prepare the paneer tikka.
INGREDIENTS
Homemade Cottage cheese/paneer ( made from 1 litre milk)
Capsicum medium 1
Tomato de seeded medium 1
Onion medium 1
Olive oil / sunflower oil 1tbsp
Hung curd 2 tbsp
Garam masala 1 tsp
Roasted cumin powder 1 tsp
Salt to taste
FOR WET GRINDING
Coriander leaves 1/2 cup
Mint leaves 1/2 cup
Garlic 3/4 cloves
Green chilly 1 no.
Juice of Lemon 1
METHOD
Cut capsicum, onion tomatoes after deseeding, into squares of same size. Cut the paneer in cubes.
Blend coriander leaves, mint leaves, chilly, juice of lemon, garlic in a blender in a smooth paste.
In a large bowl add the coriander mint paste, paneer pieces ,capsicum,onions , tomatoes, roasted cumin powder ,garam masala powder, hung curd and marinate for half an hour. Check for salt.
Skewer the vegetables and paneer in a bamboo skewer.
Take a nonstick tawa add olive oil/sunflower oil and keep the skewer on low to medium heat , turn once in a while till paneer turns slightly brown in colour.
Serve with mint chutney and onion ridges.
NOTE:

To make hung curd take a muslin cloth add the curd and gather the cloth. Tie it and hang for 15 minutes till all the liquid comes out.
