Bananas are one of the most widely consumed fruit in the world. Bananas are free of fat, high in potassium and low on salt. It lowers the risk of cancer and asthma, it lowers blood pressure and protects against heart attack and stroke.

This banana smoothie is healthy, delicious and protein packed. This healthy fruit drink can be taken for breakfast.

Summer has started and everybody likes to have something cool to drink. I use yellaki banana as it is one of the best variety and my favorite too.

INGREDIENTS

  • Banana  2
  • Milk      1 cup
  • Almonds 5-6
  • Cardamom 1
  • Sugar/ honey

METHOD

  • Serves 2
  • Time  5 minutes

In a blender add peeled banana, cardamom, almonds, milk. Add sugar/ honey according to taste.

Blend everything together into a smooth paste.

Pour in glasses and serve.

Note: if you want it thicker reduce quantity of milk, if you want it lighter add milk or water.
