
Chicken breast is a very good source of selenium, phosphorus, calcium, vitamin B6 and niacin. It helps to keep the bones healthy.
Chicken is high in protein content, rich in vitamins and minerals, aids in weight loss, controls blood pressure, has anticancer properties, reduces cholesterol and treats common cold.
This recipe is very easy to prepare. Marinate the chicken pieces in yogurt and masalas. Deep fry in oil and you can make a roll with Indian flatbreads and stuff these chicken inside or you can eat as a snack or appetizer. It tastes so good and takes very less cooking time.
INGREDIENTS
FOR MARINATION
- Chicken breast (cut into 2 inches) 1
- Lemon juice 1 tbsp
- Yogurt 3 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Chilli powder 1 tbsp
- Pepper powder 1 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
- Sunflower Oil for deep frying
FOR THE BATTER
- Maida. 3 tbsp
- Cornflour 3 tbsp
- Egg 1
METHOD
Cut the chicken into 2 inch pieces.
In a large bowl add yogurt, salt, ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, pepper powder, cumin powder, lemon juice and chicken pieces. Marinate overnight or for 3 – 4 hours.

Heat oil in a large kadai for deep frying. Keep the flame on medium heat. Add each piece and fry on both sides. When the chicken pieces becomes golden brown remove from heat and keep on a kitchen towel. This will help in removing excess oil.

Serve hot with Indian flatbreads as a roll or eat with any green chutney or tomato sauce.
