Eggs are among one of the healthiest and nutritious food. They are consumed all over the world and is a rich source of protein. Egg whites contains almost no fat and the carbohydrate content is less than 1% , unlike the yolk which is high in fats.

This recipe is very healthy and you can have as breakfast or evening snack. Kids would love to eat this healthy sandwich.

INGREDIENTS

Bread slices                              6
Garlic clove                              4-5
Mint leaves finely chopped  3 tbsp
Pepper                           2 tsp or as required
Eggs                                           2
Olive oil                                    3 tsp
Salt to taste

METHOD

Finely chop the garlic cloves and mint leaves.

In a large bowl add chopped garlic, mint leaves, pepper, eggs and salt. Beat it well.

Heat a nonstick pan, on medium heat add 2 tsp  olive oil. Dip the bread slice in the beaten eggs one by one and put on to the non stick pan(four at a time).

Cook on low to medium heat for two minutes, flip and cook the other side. Take it out when it is done. Repeat the same with other bread slices.

Serve egg mint sandwich with sprout salad.
