Water melon juice with a splash of lemon  is a refreshing drink on a hot summer day to quench thirst. Watermelon is rich in  vitamin A and also rich in antioxidant. It is a rich in electrolytes and  high water content.

Main ingredients in this recipe  are water melon, sugar and lemon juice. All you need is a good blender and fruits to make this refreshing drink.

INGREDIENTS

Fresh water melon juice    2 glass
Lemon juice                             1 tbsp
Sugar / honey                        2-3 tsp
Ice cubes                                 1 and 1/2 glass

METHOD

Deseed one portion of water melon. Cut the rind out. Take out the chunks put it in a blender add  sugar/ honey and lemon juice. Blend it nicely. Strain the watermelon puree.

Put ice cubes in the glasses and pour the water melon juice directly into the glasses over the ice cubes.
