mushroom is the most common variety of mushroom consumed all over the world.The white button mushroom is sold as fresh mushroom or is canned and used for soups, sauces and other food products.

INGREDIENTS

Sweet potato cut fine in slices                     1/2 tea cup
Sweet corn kernels boiled                             1/2 tea cup
Mushroom cut finely                                       1/2 tea cup
Olives                                                                      1 tbsp
Garlic cloves (Indian)                                      5-6
Milk                                                                         1 tea cup
Cornflour                                                              2-3 tsp
Water                                                                      2 tea cup
Olive oil                                                                  2 tsp
Pepper powder                                                    1-3 tsp
Salt to taste

METHOD

Heat oil in a wok and add the garlic saute for a minute on medium heat. Add the mushrooms and saute for a minute or two.

Add water and bring to boil. Add the sweetcorn kernels. When the mushrooms are cooked, dissolve corn flour in little water and add to the soup and bring to boil.

Add the milk and boiled sweet potato, let it simmer on low heat for 3-4 minutes. Turn off the heat.

Serve hot.
