Sesame seeds are rich in minerals and vitamins and one of the healthiest food in the word. They are antibacterial, antifungal, anti inflammatory and anti cancer. It is rich in fiber and iron.

This laddu is easy to make and the ingredients used are very less.

INGREDIENTS 

Til /ell/ sesame seeds(black) 1 teacup

Jaggery                           1 teacup

Rice                                 2tbsp

METHOD

Dry roast the til/ell/sesame seeds in a deep pan till you hear the sound of spluttering and a nice nutty aroma comes. Turn off the heat and spread it into a plate to cool.

Dry roast the rice till they puff up to a golden colour, turn off the heat transfer to a plate to cool.

In a blender blend jaggery , rice and sesame seeds into a coarse powder.

Spread the powder on to a plate and make balls. No need to add oil/ ghee as sesame seeds release oil.
