
Cauliflower has lot of health benefits combined with turmeric it helps to fight cancer, it helps in protecting the lining of the stomach. It is anti inflammatory, it is rich in vitamins, protein, folate, magnese and minerals.
The cauliflower recipe given below is very simple ,easy and tasty dish. It can be prepared in a short time and no need to grind just add the masalas. Adding yogurt gives a unique flavour to the curry.
INGREDIENTS
FOR THE MASALA
- Yogurt 2 tbsp
- Chilli powder 2 tsp or to taste
- Coriander powder 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
- Garam masala 1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
OTHER INGREDIENTS
- Onion 1
- Tomatoes 3
- Cauliflower chopped 3 cups
- Coriander leaves a handful
- Refined oil 1 tbsp
METHOD
In a bowl add 2 tbsp Yogurt , Chilli powder 2 tsp or according to your taste, Coriander powder 2 tsp, Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp, Garam masala 1/2 tsp , Salt to taste , Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp. Mix everything and Keep aside.
Heat 1 tbsp oil add finely chopped one Onion, when it turns colour add the yogurt masala and cook on low heat for a minute.
Add 3 chopped Tomatoes and chopped Cauliflower 3 cups. Add 1 and half cup water. Cover and cook till it’s done on low heat.

Garnish with a handful of chopped Coriander leaves.

Enjoy with Indian flat bread or steamed rice.
