Chicken is a source of lean, low fat protein and is full of vitamins and minerals. Chicken breasts are used in making soups, kebabs, stuffing and lot of other boneless dishes.
Dragon chicken is indo chinese dish. This dish is very delicious and easy to prepare. This is my version of dragon chicken. Usually chicken is dipped in cornflour, egg white and soy sauce and deep fried but i am making a healthier version. Chicken is not deep fried but cooked in its juices and then sauces are mixed to it.
INGREDIENTS
FOR MARINATION
Chicken boneless 200 grams
Soy sauce 2 tsp
Tomato sauce 2 tsp
Garlic paste 1 tsp
OTHER INGREDIENTS
Sugar a pinch
Oil 1 tsp
Garlic nicely chopped 1 tsp
Honey 2 tsp
Tomato sauce 1 tbsp
Soy sauce 2 tsp
METHOD
Take a frying pan on medium heat put the marinated chicken and close it with a lid. The chicken will cook in its own juice.
Once all the liquid in the chicken evaporates turn off the heat and keep it aside.
Take another frying pan heat 1 tsp oil and fry the cashew nuts, once they become slightly golden brown turn off the heat and take out the cashew nuts and keep it aside.
In that frying pan heat 1 tsp oil and add garlic and fry till it turns golden brown, on low heat add the cooked chicken, tomato sauce, soy sauce, sugar honey, cashew nuts and cook till the chicken is mixed well in the sauce..If you want it spicy chilly flakes can be added( here i have not added). Turn off the heat.
Serve hot as a starter.
