Cheese burger is a traditional, American favorite. The patty of a vegetable burger is made from vegetables. This recipe is delicious and easy to make.
INGREDIENTS
FOR THE PATTY
Boiled Potato medium 2
Onion medium finely chopped 1
Garlic (Indian) 6-8 cloves
Brown Bread slice 1
Egg white 1
Turmeric 1/4 tsp
Coriander leaves finely chopped 1 tbsp
Oil 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Refined oil for deep/shallow fry
OTHER INGREDIENTS
Burger buns 2
Cheese single 2
Tomato slices 4
Cabbage leaf/lettuce leaf 2
Cucumber slices 6
Mayonnaise
Tomato sauce
METHOD
Blend a slice of bread in a blender. Spread the bread crumbs in a plate. Separate egg white from yolk and spread the egg white in a plate.
In a deep frying pan heat oil add onions and garlic paste and saute till onions turns slightly brown. Add turmeric and saute for half a second. Add boiled nicely mashed potatoes and saute for a minute or two. Add salt and coriander leaves, mix well. Turn off the heat.
After it cools down add 2 tsp bread crumbs, mix well and divide it into two balls. Flatten it 3 inch diameter. Coat it in egg white then coat it in bread crumbs. Press it well. Refrigerate for half an hour. If you want to use immediately keep in freezer for 10 minutes.
In a nonstick pan heat oil shallow/ deep fry till golden brown.
Preheat oven for 10 minutes. Cut the burgers into half horizontally and toast in the oven/tava for 2 minutes. Take it out.
Add mayonnaise on lower half of the burger. Place cabbage or lettuce leaf on top of mayonnaise. Keep 2 tomato slice, 3 cucumber slice on top of the leaf.
Keep the patty on top of the cucumber slices and on top of the patty keep a cheese single.
On top of the cheese single add tomato sauce and cover with the top part of the bun. Repeat the same with the other burger.
Yummy burger is ready to eat !!!!
