Mangoes are low in calories, high in nutrients particularly Vitamin C. Its high in immunity, improves digestion, supports heart health, boosts immunity and improves eye, hair and skin health.
This recipe is prepared with 2 ripe mangoes and 1 unripe mango. They are blended ta very fine puree by adding water, then it is cooked with sugar. After it reaches a glazy stage it’s done. To keep for longer time vinegar or lemon juice is added. Once it cools down it is strained. Refrigerate and prepare it by adding water according to your desired consistency and if sugar is needed add that too. Add ice cubes and serve it chilled.

INGREDIENTS
- Ripe mango 2
- Raw mango 1
- Sugar according to taste
- Vinegar or lemon juice 1 tbsp
- Water accordingly
METHOD
Wash and peel ripe and raw mangoes. Discard the skin and seeds.
Chop the flesh of mangoes and blend it to a fine paste in a blender adding a cup of water.
In a deep pan add the mango pulp , two cup of water and sugar according to your taste and cook. Go on stirring the pulp, till it has a glazy appearance on low to medium heat. It will boil and on sides it will become thick.
Turn off and add the vinegar or lemon juice and mix nicely.
Once it cools down, take a strainer and strain the pulp.
You can add more water and sugar according to your consistency.( You can also refrigerate the pulp and as and when you need add it with chilled water, sugar and ice cubes).

Serve chilled with ice cubes.
