Strawberries are sodium free, cholesterol free, good for heart, increases good cholesterol and lowers blood pressure. It also guards against cancer. It is packed with Vitamins, an excellent source of Vitamin C, fiber and high levels of antioxidants.

This recipe doesn’t require any type of cooking, it’s a very easy and healthy dessert. Main ingredients are strawberries and curd.


  • Strawberry 1 cup
  • Hung curd 1 cup
  • Sugar 2 tbsp
  • cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • Salt a pinch
  • Mint leaves few
  • Crushed nuts 2 -3 tbsp


To prepare hung curd, take a muslin cloth add the curd and hang it for 15 minutes. You will get a thick curd.

Wash the strawberries and wipe it with a kitchen towel. Blend it in a blender into smooth paste.

Add half portion of hung curd to the strawberry. Add a tbsp sugar or according to your taste , cardamom powder and a pinch of salt. Again pulse it in the blender.

In the leftover portion of hung curd add a tbsp of sugar or according to your taste and a pinch of salt.

In glasses( it’s your choice what type of glasses you prefer) add a layer of curd then strawberry then curd,then a layer of strawberry. You can Arrange the layers in glasses according to your choice.

Garnish wih crushed pistachios almonds and mint leaves. Keep it in refrigerator and serve it cold.

NOTE : the strawberry curd and hung curd kept in separate bowls can be refrigerated. When guests come add in layers in glasses. Garnish with mint leaves and crushed nuts and serve.
