This is a very simple and tasty dish. Easy to make and served with fresh and dry fruits. In this recipe milk is thickened by adding custard powder. Sugar, gelatin, vanilla essence, fresh cream is added to this mixture and refrigerated.
INGREDIENTS
Milk 1/2 L
Gelatin 1 tbsp
Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Cistard powder 2 tbsp
Sugar 6-7 tbsp
Fresh cream 1 cup
METHOD
Take 1/2 tea cup milk and add custard powder and mix it.
Soak gelatin in 1/2 tea cup ice water and let it soak.
Boil milk with sugar. When the milk starts boiling bring it to low heat add custard powder and mix well. Let it thicken, keep on stirring for 5 minutes make sure that it does not stick to the bottom and get burnt. Turn off heat.
Add gelatin and mix well. Allow it to cool down to room temperature.
When it comes to room temperature add fresh cream and 1 tsp vanilla essence, mix it well.
Transfer to a pudding dish and refrigerate for 5-7 hours.
Cut it and serve with fruits and dry fruits.
